Cannabidiol oil

CBD is an active ingredient from the cannabis plant. People have used this plant for a variety of purposes for centuries. More than fifty years ago, scientists succeeded in distinguishing the first substances in the plant. They discovered CBD and other substances. Almost all of them turn out to be cannabinoids; substances that our body also produces for all kinds of purposes.

CBD, in full CannaBiDiol, is one of the most abundant cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. Scientists have already done a lot of research into how it works. They found that the CBD from the plant supports the body in the production of the body’s own cannabinoids. CBD oil thus stimulates recovery and healing in all kinds of physical complaints, even if they have not yet manifested themselves.

CBD oil effect and benefits

The body sends cannabinoids to places where symptoms occur. There, the cannabinoids attach to a cell and send out a signal that an action must take place. The great thing about this is that the cannabinoids can reach places where other substances are blocked.

Sometimes the body does not have enough cannabinoids or is unable to produce the necessary substances. CBD then helps to give the body the first push to remedy a specific complaint. How do you use CBD oil drops?

CBD oil dosage

The desired or required dosage differs per person. Dosage is therefore best determined by personal experience. You start with a few drops, as indicated on the package. Percentages and weight

Manufacturers indicate the amount of CBD present in percentages of the total amount. So at 5% in a 10 ml bottle, 0.05 ml of CBD is present. More interesting, however, according to scientists, is the weight. The rule of thumb is that 1% CBD oil corresponds to 10 mg per ml. So at 5% in a 10 ml bottle there is 500 mg CBD present (5% x 10 ml x 10 mg = 500 mg).

1 CBD drop from a bottle with a dropper is approximately 2.5 ml. Per percent, such a drop contains 0.5 mg CBD. With a bottle of 5% CBD oil that is 2.5 mg per drop. If you want to start with 10 mg CBD per day, then you take 4 drops.

Harmless

You can experiment with the dosage of CBD oil yourself. It is a harmless, vegetable product. So you can’t take too much of it. But using many CBD drops at a time is not necessary. A few drops already put the body to work with its own cannabinoid system.

CBD is hemp oil

Another processing method results in CBD oil containing only cannabidiol. The other cannabinoids are therefore not present. This strain is also effective and even better for certain complaints. It is especially advised for specific complaints and used in therapeutic treatment by a doctor.

CBD and hemp seed oil

The CBD and other cannabinoids are, as we indicated above, present in a certain amount in the available CBD oils. In addition to CBD, the bottle contains a filling product. This is almost always a natural plant oil. That could be sesame oil, for example. But perhaps more logical is hemp seed oil.

CBD oil safety and legality

The use of CBD is safe. If you take too much, the body will remove the excess. The composition of most brands of CBD is also known. Reports from independent labs show how much cannabidiol and THC they contain. The composition of unbranded CBD is usually unknown.

Is buying CBD oil legal?
